You are Valerie Long, a recently-graduated codebreaker and the newest hire on the Blitz Marquis, a graveyard shifter whose sole purpose is to break into dead starships. You're starting your first contract job for VeinCo, the largest megatech conglomerate in the Deep Sector (and everywhere else). They've given you a simple task. The Decameron, a VeinCo transport ship once lost to the stars, has finally made a reappearance. Break into the ship's mainframe and see what went wrong.

Sounds simple enough. Right?

Of course, it never is.

Come back to me blue newt....this game.... its near perfect.....blue newt......

Oh hey!! This made my day. Thanks bud :) Maybe it is time to put on the gamedev gloves again.

Genuinely I enjoyed this story so much :D I played it on call with some friends and we we're all so interested in the story and what would happen to Valarie :)

Wasn't expecting a response but I'm glad you did respond! Don't feel any pressure though :D

Very, very nice horror experience so far.

I love this kind of games (or quests in games) where you are to piece together what had happened from fragments of letters, diary logs and other tidbits left behind by other unfortunate individuals, so this game is exactly my kinda jam.

Your writing is very evocative and sucked me right in, and I also loved the little details like the messages in the protagonist's inbox at the beginning of the game, or the past mission logs.

It didn't even feel like the sound effects were missing - it takes place in space, after all, not much noise out there. The only thing I personally could imagine would add to it a bit would be some kind of ambient "ship sounds" or alerts for the communication device.

The biggest problem I have with this game, though, is that I am an absolute lore-whore, and I just NEED to know more about the LORE. The crew! The races! The CATS!

ANYWAY. I enjoyed this game very much, and I look forward to more endings. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thank you so much! I'm going to release another game in this universe (at some point), so you can look forward to more lore then :)
